The Golden Rule

What is the message of the Golden Rule?
to I think the message of the golden rule is treat others the way you want to be treated .

Which expression of the Golden Rule do you like the best?
I like the Jainism one . Because it is talking about animals and people . Also it dose  not just talk about people it includes  animals in the world too  , and we should also treat people and animals the way we want to be treated .

Why is that some times  that we don't behave to the Golden Rule ?
Because people might  forget about the rule because we are not reminded about it every day .

What could things be like if everyone behaved according to the Golden Rule? There could  be no fighting with other people and no arguments so it would be a lot better place .

Hey Alicia! it's Hannah, your buddy from Ottawa. I really like your post about the golden rule. Some things I like about it are:
1. The thing you said about treating animals the same way you treat people because I completly agree with that.
2. I liked when you said that we should be reminded of the Golden Rule everyday because usually if you remind someone then they will immediatly start following it.

3. You had a clear understanding of what the golden rule is.

Some things you could do further research on:

1. Why is the Jainism expression related to animals? Is there something in their culture about respecting or worshiping animals?

2. You could brainstorm ideas of how you can remind yourself and other of the golden rule.

One question I have for you is:

How do you use the golden rule in your daily life?

I was meaning to ask you how you pronounce your name? Is it pronounced Alee-sha or Alee-see-a?
